Description
The advanced three-days lasting workshop is grounded on sessions of live surgery, lectures, and anatomical dissection. After the presentation of the daily clinical cases, participants will attend live surgery projection and will debate the surgical procedures directly with the surgeons. Lectures will relate on skull base surgical anatomy (macroscopic, endoscopic and radiologic) and specific surgical techniques. Afternoon sessions of step-by-step tutor-guided anatomical dissection will complete the course. This course is addressed to physicians dealing with skull base pathology (ENT, neurosurgeons, maxillo-facial surgeons) who desire to deepen their knowledge of the endoscopic skull base techniques. Teaching material in digital format will be given to the partecipants at the begining of the course in order to study individually the topics of the course and be able to face the final exam.
Partecipants that attend the three-day course and pass a final examination, will receive the Post Graduate University Certificate in Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, of the University of Insubria in Varese.
